Chocia\u017c ob\u0142ogi wygl\u0105daj\u0105 podobnie do forniru, r\u00f3\u017cni\u0105 si\u0119 od niego znacznie. Dzi\u0119ki procesowi ich pozyskiwania, struktura ob\u0142og\u00f3w jest pozbawiona wewn\u0119trznych p\u0119kni\u0119\u0107. W przypadku forniru, metoda skrawania jest wykorzystywana do uzyskania kolejnych plasterk\u00f3w. Drewno jest rozparzone przed tym procesem, aby je zmi\u0119kczy\u0107, jednak nie chroni to przed powstawaniem p\u0119kni\u0119\u0107 w strukturze forniru.<\/p>\n

Description of quality classes for Saw Cut Oak Veneers:<\/p>\n

Class A – random grain pattern, allowed healthy, embedded knots up to 10 mm in diameter, slight rays, natural color variations.<\/p>\n

Class B – random grain pattern, allowed healthy knots up to 30 mm, cracked knots up to 20 mm, rotten knots and knot holes up to 10 mm, allowed heartwood changes, edge sapwood up to 8 mm, additionally allowed: rays, fiber twist, natural discolorations, 2 cork spots per lamella with a width of 2 mm and length of 30 mm, not allowed: end cracks, insect trails, heartwood, delamination.<\/p>\n

Class C – random grain pattern, allowed healthy knots without limitations, healthy cracked knots up to 70 mm, rotten knots and knot holes up to 25 mm, allowed end cracks with a total length of up to 20 cm, cracks on the plane with a total length of 20 cm, additionally allowed: hardness changes, edge sapwood up to 20 mm, gloss, fiber twist.<\/p>\n
